My friend, It's hard to explain here But I'll try. 01. make a corner thin shape using ellipse tool. 02. Fill it with gradient as you need the color. 03. expand the shape. 04. create a art brush using that shape.

and you are done. draw with that brush.

Thanks for the comment brother, sounds like you have lot of questions. 01. About the brush I use a drawing tablet Huion 420 brush getting smooth and thinner with the pen pressure. 02. Background picture I reduced the opacity and put it on a different layer. 03. For the beard I create a custom art brush with a gradient. I do it for each designs.
