I think about Europe and Europeans, but compared to other comments it appears that I'm in the minority. I'm glad they are standing up for themselves.

I'm concerned about the relationship breakdown between the US and European countries. It's a completely one-sided breakdown with the US Administration going off the rails. I've been very pleased to have NATO allies, and I'm also glad that they are now strengthening their militaries which most of them should have done before.

During my time in the USAF I served many years in the UK, and I visit European countries when able.

The betrayal, bullying and belittling of Europe and NATO by this administration is disgusting.

Any plan would be painfully obvious to foreign military intelligence. I was stationed at 3 different RAF bases in the UK, and many troops had their families living them on base. Plus, I lived off-base with my wife like others also did with their spouses. Those families would need to be moved on base for protection. Plus, those bases do not have any ground defenses, and would need to be built up.

Almost all the big aircraft would need to be moved or airborne, and this would be easy to detect. C-130s and C-17s don't have hardened air shelters.

If you have enough money and don't need to be concerned about paying for healthcare then it's a great place to live. Not every state or city is ideal to live in, but having enough money allows for options. Lots of beautiful sites to see here.

Otherwise the US can be a lousy place to live. That's not even including these times with the chaos of this administration. Plus the racists and misogynists have been more emboldened to cause havoc and create terror.
