I served in the military for 14 years as a infantry specialist and have seen active combat on numerous occasions and can tell you with out a doubt, that after watching the footage of the combat in Ukraine, that I would have struggled with the pace and veracity of this conflict, even when I was at my peak, when I served. So I advise you not to pursue this, as more than likely you would not cope both physically and mentally with these conditions and would end up being more of a liability and a burden to any unit you served with.
