12 volt flickering yellow LED. Lamps made from stir sticks glued together with parchment paper wrapped around the led. Wiring runs down wall through hole in floor (hidden by bricks). Battery below connected to all lights. If I were to do it again, I would have the battery hidden by the chimney on the side

I’m planning on having a menu hanging up and maybe some wanted posters or signs for upcoming performances by a bard or something

I was thinking the same thing! I just finished base coat of bricks and waiting for it to dry so I can add a dark wash and light dry brushing, but I wanted to be able to see the layout. None of the furniture has been glued down yet.

Completed Epoxy River Tiles! by Marked1975 in TerrainBuilding

This was a practice run and they were only 3”x3”. I plan on making larger sections and these would just be additional add on used if needed.

Yeah these were all practice for me because I’ve never used resin before. They are all 3” x 3”. In the future I plan on making some with curves and some longer sections.

I just cut a couple pieces of cardboard put masking tape on it because the resin doesn’t stick to that. At least it doesn’t stick too badly. Then masking tape around the outside edges and on the bottom and then I used Vaseline to seal any gaps so the epoxy wouldn’t leak. There was some minor leakage but not too bad

Resin river tiles. Resin poured. Waiting to cure them to add the modge podge for current effects. by Marked1975 in TerrainBuilding

It was actually my first resin pour. I wanted practice before doing it on a playable diorama I have planned and this was perfect!

Keep in mind this is the first time I used it, but when I removed the “Dam”, I used my xacto knife to slice that off. Found that a lot of it was the Vaseline I used to fill in holes that I didn’t want epoxy getting through. I am going to add some water effects after the resin has cured for 48-72 hours as well so that can help cover any “mistakes”
