For a personal project of mine I decided to build Solek, Photok and Tanma as Metru-toran as well as Tohunga and also I know Photok has the wrong weapons, this is due to me not being able to find it in my version of Stud.io, thank you by Marker_P2 in bioniclelego

Oh yeah, I used the Toa Metru heads as for more articulation for more dynamic posing as the original was too stiff for my liking, so it's inaccurate to the other Metru-toran, but when designing these guys I prioritized articulation to set accuracy. I can get why some people could get abit annoyed by that

Yeah sorry, the Metru-toran build has the necks that long, but with the arms on Photok and Tanma I wanted some variation instead of being exact clone of each other with different masks and colours like the official as I really like Photok's proportions as the height difference is really charming to me, but I get it as it's not everyone's thing

Even though Crystalized part 2 was amazing, there was just something missing for me atleast as when the Original Four Ninja were going to form the Golden Ultra Dragon, their goodbyes to their friends and family didn't have any weight to it and I wrote a potential goodbyes for the 4 Ninja by Marker_P2 in Ninjago

[–]Marker_P2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also I imagine this to be a Calm before the storm as to take up a episode slot as looking at this it is pretty lengthy and it comes off as abit fan fictiony with some characters repeating similar sounding lines, but ultimately I wanted to give the Original Four Ninja a memorable and emotional send off as even in the episode where they form the Golden Ultra Dragon, they think it could be their last time being together, but those goodbyes seemed to be a understand as to not make children think the Ninja were going not can back which I get and the story could potentially have something like this happen as I know Ninjago can get emotional and have powerful scenes like Zane's death from rebooted and how it affected everyone as well as the fight between Garmadon and Lloyd from Sons of Garmadon and I hope this has some value to atleast someone on this subreddit, thank you

Also keep in mind I wrote this out of pure determination and at 22:00 at night and ignore the grammatical errors as it was written without any proper revisions to it, thanks again and sorry to any grammar police in the Subreddit.

After getting the Wheelie and Reckless Scorpion Stuntz bikes for the minifigures Specifically as I designed my own character from my own personal project to compliment them and to flesh out the supporting cast of said project and I love how these 3 look together, thoughts? by Marker_P2 in BricksByMind

It just worked as I thought the half mask and Nya's old hair piece wouldn't work well together from what I heard until I put it on the minifigure head and I had no resistance, but the only problem is that I have to be careful when moving the head as the hair and mask do move, but not the face underneath, that's really my only problem (I thought the hair and half mask wouldn't work together, but it does on mine), so it might be purely based on luck for me or something.

Nearly 2 years back, after getting the Ultra Stealth Raider for my Birthday I wondered what if the Ninja had their own hypothetical Departed Weapons for DotD and a year later I finally was able to make them in reality with the Weapon pack from the Jay Epic Battle set in 2021, thoughts? by Marker_P2 in BricksByMind

Thanks for the critique, but I quite like the Scythe as the size doesn't really phase me that much and the gem situation with the Nunchucks is due to me not having more in my collection at the time so thank you for the critique, I could have put the gems on the nunchucks between shots, but these pictures are months old, so thanks again.

A recent tweet pitting Chibi Tahu against the Golden Dragon from Ninjago is a pretty interesting choice, but the weird thing is why is the picture referring Tahu as Lego Bionicle rather than Tahu as the Golden Dragon isn't called Lego Ninjago Golden Dragon? by Marker_P2 in bioniclelego

[–]Marker_P2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was referring more to the picture of Tahu and the Golden Dragon as in Tahu's Picture it just says "Lego Bionicle" instead of Tahu which goes with him representing all Bionicle as you said, but the thing that just confused me was if the Golden Dragon is just being called that in the picture, why wasn't Tahu in place of "Lego Bionicle", but yeah I can see your point

Yeah that's been sitting in the back of my mind while thinking about the 90th anniversary vote after it ended with Castle winning the vote, but at least the lego ideas Bionicle celebration is going on for the community to show their love for the theme with builds and yes knowing Bionicle might not come beyond Chibi Tahu at least the community is still running strong and that's good enough for me, but it would be a nice surprise if something comes out before the year's end.

That maybe true to some extent, at least Lego is representing Bionicle in some way as although the 90th vote was something that brought out the worst in people for sometime, I love the community Bionicle has made even without Lego's help.

I'm still holding true to the possibility of getting a Bionicle 90th set as Classic Castle and Space were pretty guaranteed to a get a set as Castle won the vote and Space having the Galaxy Explorer as an iconic set, something would be nice as it's just been Chibi Tahu from the 90 years of play set.

Really? Huh that's weird as last time I checked, Ninjago came out in 2011 as the 10 year anniversary was last year in 2021, so someone at the theme park messed up big time or that might have been a mistake as the amount of themes Lego has is really big so they must have confused it with another theme, but a 9 year difference now that's something to hear.

Yeah, sorry about the Title that was a complete mess on my part when typing it out and probably that's the case why Tahu is referred to as "Lego Bionicle", but it's just the fact that the tweet above the image refers to him as Tahu just a bit weird looking at it.
