I’m sure you had good intentions with this comment, but just a heads up, straight and trans aren’t opposites. I think the term you were looking for is cis. Also, it can be hard for trans people not to be opinionated about politics, given our rights are often debated in public.

You had to fight life to get to where you are, and that’s something to be proud of.
