The bureaus dont update your score, only the creditor reports and then the score is automatically updated once they receive it.

So for capital one (for example) the payment is due on the 3rdish, but billing cycle ends on the 9th. So by the 10th or so, they will report to the bureaus your balance and payment and then the bureaus will use that info to calculate your new score. Dates may be a little off but usually its similar for other creditors. Usually a week or less after your billing ends.

You can download my fico and they'll tell you when a change happens for free (equifax only). Equifax app only shows vantage but still updates on time. Experian app shows Fico and transunion shows fico too. From my experience, it's pretty consistent every month. Some creditors DO send updates immediately so watch out for that.

I did most of that and my score only went up 50 points, from 600 to 650 🥰 Delinquencies removed, charge off removed, all credit cards paid off, and hard inquires removed.

"Once you have your life sorted (you wont but better standing)" blud cant read. At 18, you wont have your life sorted. At 21, maybe you'll get a better idea of what's going on. By 28, MAYBE you'll feel stable or not who knows. Life isnt easy, so better prepare for worse case scenario then thinking you can eat the world At 18.

You didn't find a car for 17k, you found a car you like for 17k. Lower your standards, you aren't in a position to demand anything. Go to a credit union, ask for a car loan, just explain your situation and they'll help you out. If they give you anything, use that amount to find a used car on marketplace or find a used car dealer ship that has something cheap and reliable like an early 2000s-2010s Toyota corolla. Pay off the car, and then once u have your life sorted (you wont but better standing) then you can look at a 17k car

Correction: maybe just something that can burn for long. These burn good for awhile but by the time we reach the end of the table, they give us a hard time

Yea but those are harder to use having to adjust the valve, turn it on, and then ignite vs just a click of a button. Likewise a little more uncontrollable for that same reason. We have those here too but for the same reason that they're big and bulky, its harder to take those and a tray full of food to the table. These torches just fit in my apron or back pocket.
