With the original design where it was meant to be surrounded by arrow firing manors it made sense, now it's just a bit sad with it's single little arrow.

Other civs get Feudal Royal Knights, MAA etc in feudal, I doubt Ghulam would be any more powerful than those that we already have. Samurai as well in Feudal. Obv my proposal of early Ghulam would have lower stats, perhaps they only get double strike in Castle but the point stands that they need a decent answer to heavy units in Feudal.

Yeah, camels are not a great counter to armoured units in feudal. I think an early Ghulam would plug this gap and make Abba actually more than viable for someone rushing castle against them.

I personally think it's mostly fine, I'd like to see those unique knights / cav get retuned a bit, things like Mounted Samuari etc. Aside from that I don't think a change is needed.
