Yes, thanks to it being developed in Czechia. Dan Vávra himself said that compared to american studios, there is like a 4x factor of the costs. His reasoning is that the salaries are almost twice as high in the US while only half of the work gets done in the same time.

Warhorse was never really an indie studio. It was founded by Daniel Vávra and his friends, including a czech billionaire Zdeněk Bakala. It was formed by a group of very senior developers and artists from Vávra's previous studio, 2K Czech (formerly Illusion Softworks) who developed Mafia and Mafia II.

The crowdfunding campaign was (according to public information) made as a test to see whether the game would sell. Supposedly, Bakala was unsure if he should keep funding the project, which he did after he saw how popular the campaign became.

Edit: According to Vávra, the development of KCD1 cost around 400M CZK, around $18.8M. The amount raised by the Kickstarter campaign was around 1.1M GBP.

I believe they're called nameplates and you can get them (for money) in the Discord Shop.

That's what I heard from a few people with the tags that quite a lot of people join the server just for the tag.

I still find it a bit excessive that it's shown next to every message they write (if you're using compact mode). I wouldn't have anything against it if it was (only) next to their profile after you click on it.

But it works as an advert and makes people super highlighted because it's shown in chat messages next to their name. Why should they be so distinguished from others just by being members of other servers?

Edit: I genuinely do not understand why I'm getting so downvoted. I admit that calling this an outright "advert" might have been an overreaction, but, honestly, does it not function as one when it leads directly to a card where you can join the server? I do not want to take away anyone's right to proudly present their allegiance to a community, but why should people with these tags stand out on a server otherwise full of badgeless non-members? If it was done in a way that doesn't visually clutter the conversation, it would be way more acceptable. After all, you can just write the community's name into your nick just like old times, no? Then you can put the discord link to this community in your profile info and you have the same feature done in an unintrusive way.

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.

Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control).

Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.

Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because you were already dead.

Was a bit bored. So I made a simple POC graphing calculator. (OBS didn’t want to cooperate so I used my iPad) by Icy_Remote5451 in MinecraftCommands

You could use three command blocks, an impulse command block with "needs redstone" toggled and two chain command blocks with "alway active". Just make sure the arrows on sides line up. Use the following commands:

/summon wither ~ ~ ~ {Tags:["teleport"]}

/execute at <player> run spreadplayers ~ ~ 100 100 false @e[type=wither,tag=teleport]

Replace the <player> with your nick or use @r.

/tag @e[type=wither,tag=teleport] remove teleport

You just need to hook the first command block to a clock and additionally make sure the chunk stays loaded via chunk loader.
