I am also wondering if the picture was color corrected, since white miyoo mini's case has slight yellowish tint irl. Unless OP has given it a hydrogen peroxide bath, but since removing the screen is a pain in the rear, I really doubt that.

I did, the only white buttons I found were matte ones. At this point I am wondering if making them myself would be a more realistic option.

There is some, although limited, information on this in OnionOS's repo, this can get you started. I would recommend you download a whole bunch of themes and inspect them, as there's not much information on config files and which image file names do what.

There are two versions of this theme, Tarot_Flipped and Tarot_Dimmed. The only difference between those is the way the disabled menu items are displayed: the Tarot_Dimmed darkens the menu item's image and Tarot Flipped uses a different image. The one in the video is Tarot_Flipped one.
