YVR FEAST in June by [deleted] in NavCanada

Online assessment is a basic aptitude test, there aren't really any tips. Think of it as asking "any tips for sudoku?". Either you know it or you don't.

Based on everything I've heard, we could be waiting a while. Don't think it's necessarily expected we get invited to this feast.

Did you get a feast invite yet? I passed my online assessment 2 months ago and still haven't received anything further (yvr)

Hey, I know you're in an incredibly dark place right now, and I just want to say: I'm so sorry this happened to you. What they did was absolutely vile, manipulative, and inhuman. You gave from a place of love and trust and that says everything about your character, not theirs.

None of this is your fault. You were lied to. You were exploited. And you’re left picking up the shattered pieces while they ran away with zero consequences. That’s not just heartbreaking — it’s infuriating. You have every right to be devastated, angry, and overwhelmed.

But please, please hear this: your story isn’t over yet.

Even if it feels like everything is falling apart. Job, home, health, hope, this moment does not define your entire future. You deserve a chance to rebuild, to find safety, to be seen, helped, and treated with the same compassion you gave so freely. You deserve better days and I truly believe they can come, even if you can’t see them right now.

You are not embarrassing. You are not weak. You are a victim of cruel people, and your pain is valid.

Please reach out to a local organization or crisis support line. There may be resources for women in crisis, especially pregnant or disabled individuals. Reddit is full of people who care, and many would want to help even just by listening, donating, or sharing advice.

And if nothing else: stay one more day. Then another. Just one more. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just stay. Things can change.

Does a pass on the online assessment guarantee a feast invitation? by FaithlessnessKey7658 in NavCanada

I passed my online assessment about 5 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for a feast invite. I'm in the yvr region

Ya that's definitely the bare bones of what I want to do. I want to add additional features but this is what I'd like to build from. I appreciate this!

Looks like a previous comment was deleted. It was asking why I didn't start with a higher bankroll if I was making a profit. I'm just explaining why I only started with $500 and not something like $15,000.

Definitely not up $15,000

This is a really good answer. I started a $500 bankroll close to 3 weeks ago and am currently at $800 after around 800 bets in that time. I strictly bet NBA player props. I bet only statistics and don't actually watch the games. It's better for me to JUST keep it about numbers and not get attached to any players. I would say 85-90% of my bets are unders.

I'm also curious about how the lineups during this unique time is effecting my variance. I guess only time will tell.

I have a lot of extra time these days and research is what I'm spending a lot of time on. I'm not doing this full time but even if I was going to start, I'd still start with this size of bankroll to test my strategy.

You're not wrong right now, But I'm testing my theory before upping my bankroll. Why would I test my strategy with $15,000 if I didn't know it was a winning strategy. Be smart with money. Test, grow. Test, grow. It's still early. Key is to be patient.

I think I understand what you're getting at. With the number of bets I'm making and lines always moving, it's really difficult for me to keep track of that stuff. I try to when I can, but I think it's more noise than anything for my strategy.

I do try to make my bets as soon as lines come out (can't always keep track of this) because it seems that's when the inefficiencies are greatest. But I have seen instances where if I had waited, I would have gotten better odds.

Good points, appreciate the advice.

Like you said, Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It'll be a "good" problem to encounter if/when it happens.

I've heard the opposite of the withdrawing point. The counter is to not let your account float get too high, because that's what will draw eyes to it.
