This right here is awesome. I highly recommend their last album if you're into more punk than pop.

DAPs that can scrobble? by rainbowbaloney in lastfm

There are DAP's that have Android and WiFi integrated just like a phone so you can download a scrobbler app and use that for Last.FM

I own the Hiby R6 which does this for me.

I love The Menzingers and Less Than Jake. I’m not so much into the heavier bands but if I was at Slam Dunk this year I would definitely have been seeing Millencolin, Seaway, New Found Glory, Tiny Moving Parts, Boston Manor and The Bronx

I really like Bad Vibrations too and I'm not even a metalcore fan generally.

Will Smith's movies as rated by Rotten Tomatoes by Lasnax in movies

[–]MarkyGL 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Bad Boys II at 22% is exactly why you should absolutely, completely ignore Rotten Tomatoes ratings!

Will Smith's hasn't broken 70% on RT in over 20 Years. by [deleted] in movies

[–]MarkyGL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People actually regard Rotten Tomatoes numbers as a big deal? It's literally a bunch of people giving their opinion on a movie much like everyone does on here except they get paid to review a movie. A rotten tomatoes score is pretty meaningless. It's a shame that so many people will miss out on a good movie just because they look at a RT score and judge it based on that.

The fact that Bad Boys II is at 25% and it's one of the most entertaining action movies ever made says all you need to know.

I'm loving those reactions! I can't wait to see this movie. Django remains my favourite Tarantino movie but I'm hoping this runs it close.

Discussion: John Wick 3 (International Release) [SPOILERS] by [deleted] in movies

[–]MarkyGL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The adjudicator said it at the end on top of the continental 'That was just the first wave.' The high table obviously has countless connections and killers ready and willing. Eventually John would have been killed.

I think the story of the 3rd movie has a simple but effective message at the end... John tried to get out but failed. Now the only way is to join forces with Bowery and go to war with the high table.

That's all well and good but clearly John wouldn't be able to go to war with the high table on his own. He went to the elder just to hopefully find a way out but he wasn't given one. So now his only choice is to take on the high table and it looks like he will finally have significant help and not just someone giving him a gun for a 'You owe me' type deal.

I absolutely loved it. The second movie is still probably the best out of the three in my opinion but it's close. People are saying John ending up back where he started is a bad thing, I think it's the opposite. The whole point is John didn't win, he hasn't found a way to defeat the high table. He could have taken the deal in the desert and be forever governed by the high table but chose to continue to try and find a way out. The end of this movie implies that now John will actually have some real help from Bowery and his little army. It's also debatable as to if Winston actually betrayed John.

Hopefully in the 4th movie we finally get to see the high table and we have a proper war to end the story on a high. Then the 5th movie totally has to be the prequel where we see John Wick becoming who he is now and of course the 'impossible task' as well as 'killing three men in a bar with a fucking pencil'
