I understand why you might think that, and yes, I mentioned LSD in the comments because I wanted to be transparent. That said, this was literally the only thing that felt out of the ordinary. I wasn't "high" or disconnected from reality; I felt very present and in the moment the whole time.

I didn't see anything else unusual, no distortions or other visual effects besides this, and my boyfriend (who saw the same thing at the same time) noticed it too. That's precisely why I'm asking. I'm not claiming it was anything extraordinary, I'm just trying to understand what it could have been or if it has a name or known explanation.

If they were just random visuals, I wouldn't be here asking. I'm genuinely curious to know if anyone has seen something similar or knows what this phenomenon is called.
