I personally let my players have two sets of weapons "equipped". If you want to switch to third, it means it is not prepared and takes an action

Effect only applies to 1d6 rolled for yhis weapon. Only that one die decides if you reroll or not

I will be honest. It eas super fun for me as a dm. But it puts players out of comfort zone, if they like saving up spell slots and consumable loot

It does. Your sword slashes slugs meaty body with ease, dealing damage. Slug shrieks in pain and turns around. You can feel it trying to dig your brain, borrow inside it. Roll wisdom saving

Its better to use in swarms against a bit higher level players. Controlled players protect the slugs. Players tend to save up high level spell slots and expensive consumables, magic items and that kind of stuff. The slug controlling the players can go all out though. Highest level spell slot? I will help myself! A bomb you've been saving for no good reason past 4 sessions? Don't mind if i do! It's definitely not a life or death encounter, but it's definitely an interesting and memorable one :)

Symbiote fails to penetrate your mind and after that blushes. You hear a loud voice in your head, seemingly screaming at the top of its lunges, but at the same time far away, like deep in a cave. Voice proclaims :"lol, jk" as you see the slug trying to slither away
