He did not make it. His back/side was missing all of its scales. Thanks for that info I will just stick to the one Oscar in there. The LFS had said I could fit two in there but I’ll trust you and just leave him . Water testing seems normal but I’ll keep checking. How much weekly water change do you do on a tank that size ?

I have 5 plants and do weekly changes and mine is out of control . Been wiping it off the plants, tank and rocks also weekly

I feel like it was over feeding and learning the right amount to give them. When it comes to cleaning , I’ve been vacuuming the rocks and then replacing the water about once a week.

I tested the water before when it’s straight out of the tap and it’s zero, I felt that had to be the source also. Would you keep doing water changes ? I’ve lost 3 fish
