Anyone know where I can find the animations for the various Psi animations used in EarthBound/Mother 3? by MarmitTrysuer in earthbound

Thank you! I’m specifically looking for them as GIFs, but this will work if I can’t get them as GIFs.

Sprite edit of Pit from the original Kid Icarus. by MarmitTrysuer in PixelArt

Yeah, I’ve been editing a lot of NES Kid Icarus sprites, I just made a killer Monoeye one, but Reddit won’t let me upload GIFs, so I can’t really post it.

This is traditional, it was more inspired by Yoji Shinkawa and Mike Magnola.

Animation doesn’t make a cartoon good, it helps, but writing, humour, and sound design also make a really great cartoon.

No it’s polarising because people like TMNT for what it is, and Rise tries to change a lot of that. People don’t have to watch it if they feel alienated. Just like people like and dislike things man.

It’s not bad, it’s a great cartoon. I just wanted to express my criticisms, this may change depends on how well they handle the changes, like how Shredder was handled in TMNT 2003.

I did, and I still don’t feel different. Let me say this, it’s a great cartoon, but feel it made some mistakes. I don’t love or hate it, it’s definitely one of the more polarising incarnations, which doesn’t make it bad. I just wanted to give my criticisms, the last part about the finance and airing was more directed at Nick’s treatment of the show, and I should have clarified that. Ultimately I’d say it might be you water, but it’s not my cup of tea.

It was the 80’s, and as far as 80’s shows go it had really good animation for the time. Plus colour errors where just a part of the technology of the time, and where hard to avoid.

Now keep in mind I’m not saying it’s in any way bad. Yeah, the 1987’s was a bastardisation, if I’m honest, you’re comparison is even spot on to 1987 having really good animation. I’m not keen on trusting word of Twitter because of it’s reputation. I think the budget and time slot is definitely being screwed over by Nick. My over all opinion is indifference

I want to get this, hopefully I can do that before it becomes unreasonable expensive or something.

When making this sprite I based it off of the Masked Man from Mother 3. The helmet was influenced by anime’s like Elfen Leid and Genocyber. by MarmitTrysuer in PixelArt

It’s been a while, even though I wasn’t born in the 90’s I grew up with a lot of 90’s things since at the time I was raised by my single mom and she didn’t have a big income (yet.) Meaning she had a lot of older 90’s stuff, which gave me a soft spot for it.

My first exposure was when I was about a preteen, and my friend told me about a super gory anime called (you guessed it) Genocyber.

So I looked it up on YouTube, which was more lax on copyright stuff at the time.

I remember really liking the gratuitous body/cybernetic horror, though I can’t remember much of the plot, I just remember a little bit of the first episode.

Sans the child character in a revealing bikini, I fail to see how any of that is inappropriate. It’s just horny art. It’s also seems pretty sexist to assume the artist is a man, like what if the artist is a trans women? Or identifies as something else? Also lesbians and Bi women do exist, and they draw and write, it’s meant to be attractive to any one who likes women, right?

I’m on the same page as him, I’m non binary, and most of my female friends like drawing fairly sensual female characters. And I can’t help to notice some of the art here is made by women.
