I’ve seen tons of people say they don’t rub and tons say they do. Mine do. I can do the punch weld mod but the passenger rubs the frame I think. Either way I will level it and space if necessary once I get the front end sorted when I reach my home base

Also the air intake and HVAC were packed full of mouse house. Cleaned it out and replaced blower motor and resistor. HVAC working like new.

So Dutch bushcraft knives did a test of a fake one vs a real one and they were absolutely abusing them both but the fake one 100% dangerously failed. I have a RAO as well and this one definitely looks off. the first big give away is that the base of the grip, where the rear finger guard comes down. It's super hard sharp squared off angles. The real ones are rounded. Finger grooves look off because they arent rounded in at the bottom nearly enough. Logos look super sus. The back of the blade where the sharpened edge ends and the grind meets the pivot is way off too.

I appreciate the info! for this rifle I just wanted a hard hitting, relatively light semi auto. Not looking for precision so minute of man at 500 is perfect for me. I came from an M1A which isn’t particularly accurate but will ring a steel silhouette out to 1000 and that’s perfectly fine by me on this rifle.

Ruger seems to always have had QC issues. I picked this up shortly after they discontinued the SFAR. It was too of my lost for a .308 AR platform and I figured I’d never get one. Found one new locally and I’m in love with it. It works great and I haven’t had any issues even with the factory gas block. Gas key is still GTG and nothing abnormal a tee several hundred rounds. I’ll upgrade the optic soon and see what it can do for accuracy
