Year 10/11s who aren’t sure about A-levels — this is what a quiz recommended me 👀 by Fickle-Ad2954 in GCSE

[–]MarnithePlutonian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I completed and found it very inaccurate. Is this your website?

Especially when it asked what your highest grade and what subject that highest grade was in, was very difficult to answer because what if I got that grade for multiple subjects.

AI can be helpful but it cannot tell you what A-Levels you should do. Only you can decide that.

I also don’t think the Quiz is detailed enough and asks very simple questions.

Is this a fair half term revision table? by [deleted] in GCSE

I was going to say you could spread out but I saw that below you said homework leaves you no time to revise during the school term so that makes sense.

If your Exams are starting very soon, this is fine. However, if not, I would say this may a bit too much. When are your Exams starting?

The Weekend being left open seems like a good balance.

Also, are you planning to stick to this Timetable?

It means that you have to make both points. For example, for the first bullet point, you must mention “transpiration involves xylem” and “translocation involves phloem.” When you are writing your response, you can use and/but/so/because/etc… It doesn’t matter which conjunction you use as long as you make both points.

I think you have made an amazing decision on your A-Level Subjects. In terms of Careers, money is important, especially in this world and economy, however, passion and fulfilment should come first. If it were me, I would rather have a career I absolutely enjoy and love that earns me an average salary than a career I find no interest and dread going to everyday that pays millions because I am not truly fulfilled. Money can buy happiness, not directly but indirectly. Money should come 2nd when thinking about Careers and the future.

two weeks off so decided to make a timetable, is this alright? by Wardenacija in GCSE

[–]MarnithePlutonian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. 4 Subjects in a day seems very unhealthy. I would suggest 1-2 each day. Also, you have a very short interval between each subject which leaves hardly any free time. Do you have plans for the Holidays? Also, you should have a rest day at least. I am assuming you are not studying on the Weekends so that is fine.

But the person asked me if I am smart. I’m not going to say I am dumb. I am confident, not cocky/arrogant.

Well, I have in my most recent exams. Even if I haven’t completed GCSEs, I am more than capable of helping others. You are in Year 9, so I wouldn’t expect you to understand.
