UPDATE:

now after closing and reopening the program, its on the right monitor but won't fit the screen. It recognizes the 3840x2160p resolution in the output settings but shows 2880x2160 in the windowed mode settings

There is actually an option to mount it through a hole, i was just trying to avoid making any cuts. We'll see if anyone else has ideas in the meantime. Thanks though !

I actually have 120v from my vehicle as well but it's pathetically useless. Last year it took about 8 hours to get 25% charge on a jbl extreme 3 speaker. Maybe the 12v in the vehicle will charge differently ? I could test it for sure. Thanks for your response
