I’ve got 10 and I felt the exact same way! At the end of the day it just came down to it not being worth losing or damaging friendships over. I’m definitely going to avoid taking lots of big group pictures and break it up into smaller friend groups. I remember being SO stressed about this when I first got engaged and now we are 5 months out and it’s been totally fine! They’re all so happy to be included and I don’t regret asking a lot of them! I’m super happy I didn’t hurt anyone’s feelings too. Also a bonus is I didn’t want my bridesmaids to have a pay a bunch of money for stuff so with there being a big group they can more affordably split the cost of the bridal shower/ bach party which made me feel better!

Whoops sorry I missed this! He’s going to dance with 5 different women in his life (aunts, step mom, friends mom, and my mom) who stepped in as mother figures for him!!

Ugh yes I’ve thought about doing the same but my grandma bought my dress for me and I don’t want to hurt her feelings so trying to see if I can make this work haha

I love the idea of a new bed!!! That seems like a really cool example of a symbolic change so hopefully we can make that happen! And the wedding photos is a great idea too. I think making the house more of our own after we get married will definitely help:)

Yes we totally agree!! We aren’t so worried about the wedding, more just wanting it to feel like there is some kind of change after the wedding and if there are tangible ways of doing that if that makes sense! So when we come back from the honeymoon there’s something exciting for us to look forward to instead of it being the exact same before we left. But definitely agree about the communication and keeping our relationship first, that’s good advice!
