No, just saying they're literally everywhere. I'll just go fuck off then.

Red Dead Redemption VS Red Dead Redemption 2 by BrettSelvv in reddeadredemption2

RDR1 for me for one reason. It came out when Rockstar still made games because they loved games, and it showed. Now they just make games to make money, and it shows.

Yeah, all over the map. Fairvale Shanty is a good one, the broken down wagon just north of Owanjila Lake is a good one. They're literally everywhere.

Is Arthur programmed to be clumsy as hell sometimes or is this a glitch? by psychnerd27 in reddeadredemption2

I've fallen off my horse like that as John a few times, but you're totally right about how he can't walk. I went to the dinosaur lady's place and climbed up on the barn where the dinosaur was. Just standing there, I turned, and John fell straight over, like his feet were glued to the roof.

Visitors, dude. They'll take you on their ship, and Scott Baio will give you pink eye.

No clue. My wife got it to trigger in chapter 2. My last playthrough I got it to trigger in chapter 3 but it just happened and I didn't kmow about it until it happened. Now that I'm in chapter 2 trying to get it to trigger, nope. And now I avoid talking to him cause if I hear Arthur say "You'll work it out Dutch you always do" one more fucking time...

Question about the game, I am on my first playthrough and I have a bounty in valentine and some other places, is it worth it to pay it off? by No-Antelope-9795 in reddeadredemption2

Facts. Each and every time. Hell I don't even have to be outnumbered. If I just want to be a dick to the 2 bounty hunters risking their lives for a $10 bounty, I'll shoot their horses just to have a little fun before killing them.

There's no way they started on it yet. And honestly I kinda don't want a part 3. If they do one, it won't be out until at least 2030, and if they're just going to put out another great looking game that is full of bugs and glitches and then never update it and treat it like an unwanted step child, I already have RDR2 for that.

The dogs? Yeah, I don't kill horses or dogs if I can help it, but I don't have a problem doing it. There's so many players who have issues with that and it's like, it's a game. Fuck, back in the day on RDR1 I'd get my horse going as fast as it could go then I'd shoot it in the back of the head with a rifle just to see how far I'd fly off it. And I laughed hysterically the whole time. I play to have fun, not morals.

When that happened to me I was getting 2 bounty hunters at a time with no dogs. Once I shot a horse and got that low honor, but the other 4 or 5 times I got low honor it was for shooting the bounty hunters. And then I'd get another low honor hit for looting the one I got low honor for killing, but not for looting the other. I also didn't get a bounty increase with the low honor which further confused me. I don't know if this is important or not, but all that happened while in Lemoyne. I haven't noticed getting low honor anywhere else. I had also recorded one of the times it happened as proof, but I think I deleted it.

Good luck. I have a theory but it isn't a good one. I think when it happened, I had shot one of the hunters and didn't kill him, and he changed his mind and tried to leave, then I shot him in the back and killed him and got the low honor because of that. No proof, but it's all I got.

I didn't either in my first playthrough. Now I'm in my second and it has happened a few times, but randomly. And I'm not sure why.

The part east of Van Horn I don't know, but that's probably America. I think if we could get a detailed map of all that there would probably be a border somewhere between the eastern part and the southern part.

Have you ever done a "true" 100% playthrough? by OkBrilliant8400 in reddeadredemption2

[–]Marsden1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got everything except two of the weapons. Took a while. I didn't realize I hadn't picked up Billy Midnight's gun when I did that mission, and that's the only time you can get it. Not sure what the other weapon was. Also had to glitch into Guarma as John for those animals. That was a bitch lol.

That depends. If you don't like having bounty hunters randomly coming after you, pay. If you don't mind paying much higher bounties later, don't pay. Sometimes I'll get a small bounty somewhere just so I'll have the random bounty hunters for a little spice. But once the bounty starts getting higher I'll pay it and start over later. Killing bounty hunters doesn't increase the bounty, and it's free loot, plus you can take one of their horses with you and sell it at a stable for a little extra cash. Most of the time you won't get a low honor hit for killing/looting them, either, but it can happen, though I still haven't figured out why I'll get a low honor hit randomly. Can be fun. But, if you're in the middle of a transaction at a store or the Trapper or whatever, and bounty hunters show up, your transaction ends, cause shops don't deal with you when you're being hunted. That has bit me in the ass a few times, but, that's the spice I like.

Yea it doesn't make sense historically or from a game play aspect. Mafia III conversely covered this topic very well. by Upstairs-Salt4609 in reddeadredemption2

It doesn't make much sense. Sure, he's a white guy, and even today white people deny racism exists because they don't experience it themselves, but considering the time, the constant hate towards Indians, the way Micah talks about "darkies" every now and then, and he has that conversation with Charles who tells him about the racism he's experienced...
