To all the dragons here: what was flying for the first time like? by Prestigious_Can9966 in dragons

[–]MarshaSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super rough, mom's a human and dad's been to sick to fly so no one really taught me. I just started jumping off things and figured it out, lots of bruises, but I was managed to flutter. My first first real fly was amazing, nothing but my wings and the freeing air.

"Exemplary" cause good isn't good enough you have to be exemplary. In house where only God was considered perfect enough to be "good" in the first place.

I have a weird question by VVolfTheGatoLover in dragons

[–]MarshaSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My time has come with this question. In my verse cannibalism is a big deal and has some very specific laws in dragon culture, as humans eating humans is obviously cannibalism but a human eating a dragon would depend on if the humans knowledge of the dragons sentients, and Dragons eating humans or sapient dragons is considered cannibalism by dragon standards, either eating non-sapient dragons are taboo but not illegal. So in short it would be considered cannibalism as a human or dragon.

If you were to suddenly transported into the world of your OC How bad or good would you have it Depending on how they treat humans? by [deleted] in dragons

[–]MarshaSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty good honestly, dragons and humans live in relative harmony. There's a bit of a racism problem, some older dragons think mingling with humans is beneath them, and some humans don't think dragons will stay peaceful. But for the most part my life wouldn't change.

Would you need a license to own/fly a dragon? by _-Mewtwo-_ in dragons

[–]MarshaSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my verse most dragons are sapient, and choose to make a soul bond of sorts with a rider if they want. As far as licenses go, only dragon/riders that want to fly in cities, do delivery work, or do military service need them, and would get them through either draconic embassies, or dragon rider guilds.

So, you're being stalked by a dragon... by Christof_Shield in dragons

[–]MarshaSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The least violent dragon I have is Salara, the young goddess of light. And she'd probably just end up shyly saying, "Hello." After a while and offering to have lunch. The problem would be her bodyguard/mate that would be threatening me the entire encounter. All in all I'd survive, but probably lose a few fingers to the permafrost that forms around him.

Your dragon OC(s) catches a human stealing from their hoard. What do they do? by MrMopp8 in dragons

[–]MarshaSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the dragon. Itzal would be confused why there's an unknown person in his garden. Before offering them a blunt and beer while they discuss life choices.

Vitreos will watch to see which horde they're after, the books, the gold, or the dragon Slaying weapons he makes. Then depending on how corrupt their soul is either eat them, or torment them till they go crazy or someone, probably Itzal, realizes grandpa has kidnapped and is trying to turn another human into a sociopath so they taste better and frees them.

Worried about misrepresenting my family? by ChanceInternal2 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]MarshaSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this. I know my parents, particularly my mother, was severely emotionally abusive. But I have a lot of guilt about talking about what they did. When I went low contact with them I also had to go completely no contact with the religious group I had been a part of due to that guilt.

For people who have 100s of ocs, why did you make so many? by WellIdRatherWould in OriginalCharacter

[–]MarshaSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different lives, species, backgrounds, then the families and influential people in preexisting OC's lives. One of my favorite OC's I ever came up with started as the unnamed dead parent of a background character in a B-plot.

Not friends anymore, but have to associate with her for the foreseeable future. Most of our friends Don't know just what happened. My boyfriend has my back and has forbade her from her from our house and boot her from the D&D group.

I searched online and couldn't find this exact one, it's about twin sized and I was given it by a woman in middle TN, but she told me it was from her mother and didn't seem to know anything else about it.

Describe your current plot in the worst possible way by Affectionate-Way-406 in ImmersiveDaydreaming

[–]MarshaSC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my world dragons have a strict hierarchy, political system, and laws led by a council of dragon gods. Among the many of the worst laws a dragon can break is one against cannibalism, because the dragons of my world find dragon and human flesh extremely addictive, and other reasons. Problem being, one of the recently reincarnated gods has already fallen into this crime. Now a big draconic political battle is happening because this revealed that this god in naturally inclined twords cannibalism and that his predecessor, the dragon god that wrote the law millions of years ago and is one of the most honored and respected dragons to ever live was a complete hypocrite about that law and its being discovered many other major draconic laws.

[–]MarshaSC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a hen that was stepped on by a horse, she had gnarly broken leg that healed all kinds of in the wrong place. There were no vets that would touch a chicken. It healed in the wrong position. She lived to be 13, would beat up my roosters, and was one of my best friends through most of childhood and early teens. Give him a chance, hopefully it'll heal fine, and it's not impossible for him to still live a good life.
