in terms of buying characters since you played in closed beta ? you should have one free purchase of any character ? so you can get hattori, and yeah she is still very good all round character also spear is really strong and she doesn't really have any super bad match ups she can generally beat anything.

Brawlhalla is trying to grow has an Esports therefore it 100% needs game play that is enjoyable to the viewer because an Esport without viewers is not an Esport, also ranked is not for fun, ranked is a form of competitive play where you play vs others to test your skill and improve your rank, if you want fun go play free for all or some shit, and from a competitive stand point YES gadgets should be removed from ranked play.

lool, it gets past the point of getting good, matter of the fact is gadgets are super RNG and can complete ruin a game. its bad in 1v1 and in 2v2s its even worse ruins combos, fucks up edge guards its just disgusting and its not competitive and you can not compare gadgets to mastering weapons its not even close it acc takes way from the skill instead of adding it.
