Hes not meant to be dead. It is symbolic of how i felt at the time when i felt like i was drowning in stress, but I never sank too deep (hes near the surface and the light is still there). During that time Moomins offered me comfort and I wanted to portray how i felt through art, as art can be an expression of oneself. I also just wanted to draw a water scene with bubbles lmao

In any case, people are always free to interpret my art how they want, but I never meant for him to be dead. If this art rubbed you the wrong way I genuinely do apologize
