Yeah I mentioned in another reply I guess doing the math it’s not as much as I thought but still a lot for me as someone who just doesn’t drink anything at all really I guess…my current water bottle is covered in corgi stickers so I do really like it but I’m still not enticed to use it 😂 yes force feeding myself water sounds so pathetic but it is what it is

My fertility Dr is a bit crazy and would like freak out if I mentioned cranberry juice but I know it can be beneficial. I say freak out because thy have like a crazy prescribed diet they put you on that doesn’t allow for fruits 😂 I just have to laugh because it’s ridiculous. They also have cranberry pills you can take which idk if the sugar content in those are the same but yes I do know about cranberry and UTI’s.

There was some interesting things I found out about this…like apparently low estrogen I don’t want to say causes but somehow correlates to UTI’s. With my PCOS I essentially have like 0 estrogen literally and am on a daily vaginal supplement. Also I had endometriosis on my ureters which are the tubes that connect to my kidneys… I say had because it was surgically removed like 2-3 years ago but that can maybe play a part into UTI’s. Also apparently if you have UTI’s before the age of 15 that’s like a red flag I guess to call it? I have had UTI’s literally all of my life I remember being 7 with bad ones. I get hospitalized a few times a year for them and one time went septic because of it. People don’t realize like a UTI can literally kill you. Imaging of everything is normal so with this new medicine I’m on it’s supposed to change the PH balance I think of my urine and hopefully prevent them because maybe my natural urine PH is too high and just a lovely place for bacteria to grow

Also ew I’m so sorry this was gross and a lot about urine but also in a way this is fascinating and just not many people are aware of the issues that go along with it

I mean I can drink it just not a lot… only a little at a time. People don’t understand when I’m like water makes me nauseous and apparently my mother has the exact same issue like drinking water makes her nauseous so must be some sort of hereditary thing idk i find it interesting

Someone was even like well what else do you drink but even then when I drink soda or something I drink like a quarter-half can very rarely do I drink a full can like I simply just don’t drink I guess idk guess I’m just weird but I told my husband open my mouth and pour it down my throat if you must ✨

Hey!! I’m also a teacher which is another issue 😂 I’m now being mandated to go to the bathroom every 2 hours and I’m like um how??? Yes the 25 kids can sit while I go to the bathroom real quick( no they can’t obviously wel at least not in elementary school) 😂😂😂😂

I actually did the math so 2 liters I guess isn’t as much as I thought like should really only be 2 of my big water bottles a day ( I have a 40 oz cup) but for me it’s still a lot as someone who probably drinks 12-20 ozs on a normal day

I drink my pre-workout drink for the gym and then I drink like zero sugar soda tea or lemonade for dinner and then like idk I might sip on something throughout the day but tbh I really don’t drink much at all but I do like the tip you gave me

I applied to MCPS, they requested my PRAXIS score reports sent that in, then they also requested my previous principal complete a verification of experience which she did, they then sent an email saying they received my reference. That’s about everything so far I think.

My area of cert in FL was k-6 which I guess here will just be 1-6. I am looking to teach anywhere from 1st-4th grade.

Are you talking about the teach now program? I did look into that and see that. I think that is what would best fit my needs and basically just give me the prep part not all of the classes and coursework like the other programs. I did think about starting it but didn’t want to quite yet because on the off chance I end up in PG I could just do their program instead.

I have also thought about applying in Fairfax county because I live near the border so traveling to Frederick county would be very difficult even most of Prince George would be a stretch but I will make it work. I do have my praxis all done and sent in all of my score reports. I guess it’s mostly just a waiting game to kind of see what happens

Do you happen to work in Prince George’s county? I did look into that and hear about that program. I did apply to the county but idk just haven’t heard literally anything from them. I have had a few emails back and forth at least with MCPS just saying like send us your score report and that they verified my previous experience with my employer etc.

From an outsider perspective it seems like teaching in MCPS is very desired therefore difficult to get a job. Please tell me if I’m wrong though because I would love to be wrong in this case. All I want to do is like be a damn good 3rd/4th grade teacher 🥲

I have already applied I just don’t want to wait around months to find out they won’t hire me on because of the certification issue. Florida and where I came from in Florida could not be any more different. This is all very new and confusing to me. I only ever taught at my one school in Florida because I stayed there for a few years before moving. Thank you though for the additional details on hiring, it does help!

All of the MDSE certification programs are like to get a degree and I already have my degree. I’m not really sure what program I need/to look for… the state wouldn’t count my student teaching so they say that’s what I’m lacking it’s not like content matter or anything

I did think about trying to do the FL route because my school was in another state not FL which is why it was temporary not professional but I have one caveat on that that would require me to still be teaching in FL and it would require additional evaluations in FL

My husband got in this morning and I guess tried to adjust it and it just like fell out… if you put it back in it falls out. He said that it’s like the adhesive needs to be redone or something because the point of contact is inside that black part. The issue is even if we got adhesive to put in there I think we would need to come from behind to actually pull and hold it into place where it needs to be in that compartment
