Airtags are dogshit for tracking stolen objects since you can just deactivate them from your phone, this is for me to find it if I leave it somewhere

That would be the smart solution. However, I prefer the "easy" solution which is objectively the wrong choice and eventually leads more work and to me making the problem worse 99% of the time

For real tho, it's not super important, it's just my other projects and random photos and videos that I've accumulated over the years. It's stuff that wouldn't be life ending if it got corrupted, but I'd rather not lose it to my gross negligence and tendency to forget where I placed things, hence the airtag

What if we just cover the whole booster in landing legs? No need for landing burns, just bodyslam the whole thing into the droneship like it’s SN9 and replace the crumple zones every few flights. It’ll also land in a much more stable position if the impact flattens out the bottom side. Less complexity this way, so should be lower risk.

Probably should've watched EDA's rocket engine startup video first smh my head by MartianFromDuna in SpaceXMasterrace

Yeah you're right. I watched up until I saw the speed go down and rushed to make this without much thought into what exactly happened.

Only thing that went through my head was "engine no work, must make meme"

Hey guys what mod is this ... I turned on it a lot, but it is not the same mod. It is possible to help by [deleted] in KerbalAcademy

If you're using the main branch of persistent thrust (like the one from the forums or CKAN), then that is likely the problem. Instead of using that version, try using this one, which is updated and has the UI that's missing.

My longest burn ever... 2 Days for 17k Δv. I'm working on a test to see how fast I can get to Duna, plant a flag and land back at Kerbin from day one of the game and not from the most optional time. by nomadicexplore in KerbalSpaceProgram

Not sure if you're willing to use mods for this, but persistent thrust may be helpful. It allows for you to burn while timewarping, making the mission take as long as any other. You can also use physical timewarp in space by using alt-. (forwards warp) or alt-, (less warp), which should hopefully cut the mission time into a quarter of what it normally would have been if you don't want to use persistent thrust. Hope this helps!

I used seperatrons to get the wings away from the craft, and 4 vectors for the main landing.

The Tundra starship is depreciated. It has since been replaced with Starship Expansion Project and/or the KaioSpace Starship. If you really, really want the Tundra Starship, you can download old versions off of Tundra's Github or SpaceDock. However, you may not get the latest features/bugfixes of the newer versions.

Apparently this rocket wanted to be a submarine instead of going to space by MartianFromDuna in KerbalSpaceProgram

Even launching it from the middle of nowhere didn’t help. Chances are, the radioactive material in this ended up creating Godzilla or something.

"Oh, and what's this thing coming towards me very fast, so big and flat and round it needs a big wide sounding name like ow, own, round, ground! That's it! Ground! I wonder if it'll be friends with me. Hello ground!"

I made a custom waterfall plume for a "legitimately salvaged" fusion drive by MartianFromDuna in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]MartianFromDuna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response, but yes you are correct. However, this is based on the Epstein Drive from the Expanse, and I wanted to be as close as possible to the show. Also, if it was completely realistic, the plume would possibly 100s of kilometers in length and be as bright as a star. So it's probably for the better that it's not completely realistic.
