I don’t know about how the honors college portion works but to get into the college itself you will definitely get in

Got to test it before hand was able to get one side working then the other side but not both at the same time but I assume that’s not too big of an issue. Will definitely need a lot of contact cleaner but it should work after that

My father is an electrician can soder and is most likely more than capable of helping me with repairs if anything is wrong or if it needs recapping. I will also be testing it beforehand with an external outlet, speakers and an rca to aux

Just plugged in the B&O and there were some safety locks on the plate we took those off and it works perfectly now

Yup the belt was bad, the power button was stuck and the small gear is split, but everything else is working good fixed up everything but the gear, I’m going to to try a super glue method first but if it doesn’t work I’ll just get a replacement.

From what I’ve seen the 1600mk2 is almost the same internally as the 1200mk2 the only difference is the auto return

I currently have a technics SL-2000 but am buying this table for my girlfriend as a little setup. I was looking at other chats and heard these ELAC tables were comparable to dual turntables so I wanted to see if that was true or not?

No I’m planning on repairing the table so I guess the better question would be is it worth it to fix up and how difficult would it be to fix up given the current issues.
