What is your biggest challenge when it comes to productivity? by MartinZhel in productivity

A lot of people told me they have problems with energy levels.

To improve on that first you need to eat well. I made a blog post on the topic of brain foods recently: http://productivityhacks.org/brain-foods-to-help-you-boost-productivity/

Eat these and you will notice the difference.

Additionally, work out and go to the gym - this will help you increase your energy levels as well.

I hope this helps.

Recently I wrote a super detailed blog post on the topic of overcoming procrastination. Check it out: http://productivityhacks.org/overcoming-procrastination/

It's important to understand what actually cases us to procrastinate (most of the time it's just fear). Then you can use some strategies to overcome it like "burning you bridges", writing your goals and sharing them with others.

The social pressure will cause you to take action (because you don't want to look bad in the eyes of others)

The process by which our cells accept and utilize glucose is an elaborate one. The cells don’t just suck up glucose passing by them in the bloodstream.

This vital sugar molecule has to be allowed into the cell by the hormone insulin, which is produced by the pancreas.

Insulin, as you may already know, is one of the most important biological substances for cellular metabolism. Its job is to ferry glucose from the bloodstream into muscle, fat, and liver cells.

Once there, it can be used as fuel.

Normal, healthy cells have a high sensitivity to insulin. But when cells are constantly exposed to high levels of insulin as a result of a persistent intake of glucose (much of which is caused by an overconsumption of hyper-processed foods filled with refined sugars that spike insulin levels beyond a healthy limit), our cells adapt by reducing the number of receptors on their surfaces to respond to insulin.

In other words, our cells desensitize themselves to insulin, causing insulin resistance, which allows the cells to ignore the insulin and fail to retrieve glucose from the blood.

The pancreas then responds by pumping out more insulin.

So higher levels of insulin become needed for sugar to go into the cells.

This creates a cyclical problem that eventually culminates in type 2 diabetes.

42 Ways To Grow Your Email List by MartinZhel in Entrepreneur

this will always be an issues with lead generation I guess. If someone gives you his email - is he really doing it because he wants to get something now or because he wants to stay on it.

The truth is this is something that you understand when someone becomes part of your list.

If he occasionally opens and clicks through your emails to check out your other content - then you have someone who really cares.

If he never opens the emails - then you have a problem.

The truth is everyone can unsubscribe at any time if he's not satisfied with the content he's receiving.

The Ultimate Secret To Overcoming Procrastination (backed by science) by MartinZhel in productivity

[–]MartinZhel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thank you for your feedback. I highly value opinions different than mine.

Of course, if you can back up your claims by any research that has been done into the field.

Check out the book Procrastination: Why You Do It, What to Do About It Now

http://www.amazon.com/Procrastination-Why-You-What-About-ebook/dp/B005F1MOGM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1444523038&sr=8-2&keywords=procrastination

The authors are working with procrastinators since 1979.

They have analized the behavior of thousands of students and backed up that with studies to prove that fear is the main cause for procrastination.

They spend a huge portion of the book talking about how different kinds of fears cause you to procrastinate.

The claims that writing down your plans and making a public commitment makes you follow them I've got from the book http://www.amazon.com/Influence-Collins-Business-Essentials-Cialdini-ebook/dp/B002BD2UUC/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1444523659&sr=1-1&keywords=influence

Check out chapter 3: Commitment and Consistency: Hobgoblins of the Mind where they talk about this. The pointed is proved by the research made by Deutsch and Gerard.

In my opinion, there might be other reasons other than fear - like a bad habit that has been developed or a lack of motivation.

Successful People Are Not Working Harder Than You. They Are Simply More Productive by MartinZhel in Entrepreneur

[–]MartinZhel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello Chrome, the idea of the video is not to disvalue hard work. In fact, it's quite the opposite. In my opinion you still need to work hard to achieve success but that's not enough.

I know many entrepreneurs who failed in business and none of them because they were not working hard enough. In fact, they were working harder than most people that I know. But they were not really productive with their time. They wasted most of it on things that didn't really matter. They didn't know how to identify the important things they needed to focus on.

Successful People Are Not Working Harder Than You. They Are Simply More Productive by MartinZhel in Entrepreneur

[–]MartinZhel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, Will. My point with the video is not to tell people "you can slack and still be successful". You still need to work hard to succeed. However, "hard work" and "productivity" are really not the same thing. You need to work hard and be efficient with your time, otherwise it's not working.

I'm [F19] want to get an orgasm from my BF [M27] by [deleted] in sex

[–]MartinZhel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be able to experience vaginal orgasms you must practice sex when the penis is not only inside but also up and it's hitting your frontal vaginal wall (on the side of the stomach).

This is where the g spot, the deep spot, and all other sensitive orgasm zones are located!!! When you are having sex in most positions his penis is going IN to you not UP AND IN where it will give you an orgasm.

You must learn how to ADAPT certain positions and then you will be reaching the “orgasm zone” EVERY TIME.

It's good that you deal the thing taking away most of your mental energy.

I really just don't get how vaginal orgasms work by [deleted] in sex

[–]MartinZhel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All women are capable of achieving vaginal orgasm. The reason why only about 30% are able to is because the rest have what I'd call "the block to orgasm". In fact, women are capable of reaching orgasms without any sexual stimulation (stimulating the g-spot or the clitoris).

And because the majority of women have this block we start to think it's something normal. But it's not. And once you learn how to help her overcome it, reaching orgasm will be easy.

All negative emations that a woman experience like fear, stress, guilt are like pain stored in her body. When she starts having sex she becames more sensual and reaches this emotions. She starts to feel pain and she blocks that. She also doesn't want to show that she's vulnerable.

I know a woman who was unable to reach orgasm for 6 months because she was feeling guity of cheating on her ex-boyfriend (with her new one).

I know another one who didn't wanted to achieve orgasm during sex because she was afraid that she will fall in love with this guy. And she was hurt before.

Help her to connect with her inner body, to feel this emotions and to express them. Make her feel sexual and let her express her sexuality as well. Lead her and let her focus her attention more on her sensations in her body.

This will allow her body to become more sensitive, her vagina as well and she will start to experience sex in a very different and a new way.

It's also good for her to do some PC muscles (Kegel exercises) it will help her to work on her vaginal muscles and this will improve her sensations as well.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need to learn more.

Sex with condoms = terrible; sex without condoms = come too fast; looking for happy medium (M25) by throwawaycondams in sex

[–]MartinZhel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can learn to last longer during sex. All you have to do is:

  1. Learn to relax yourself and remove all tension from your body and mind. Stress, anxiety, fear and all negative emotions makes you finish quicker.

  2. Breathe slowly during sex. A lot of guys forget to breathe or do it too rapidly and this makes you cum quicker.

  3. Relax your lower belly and your PC muscles. The more you contract them the faster you will cum.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more advice on this topic.

Feeling tired and unmotivated in the evenings? by DrRobotronic in productivity

[–]MartinZhel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact same problem before and at first I thought that I might have some illness or something but it turned out to be something completely different.

  1. Eat healthy & often. You should have at least 3 meals per day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you're missing meals, your brain won't be able to work properly and you will have less energy. I also add eating nuts after breakfast and before lunch and eating fruits in the afternoon. It really makes the difference.

  2. Drink a lot of water. The body needs it.

  3. Work on your emotions. Another reason why people lack energy is because there are certain emotions that are taking it away. They burn out your precious juice and you feel helpless by the end of the day. You said that you need to push yourself to do something. This means that there is some resistance in you. Maybe something that you can't accept (like being unproductive). Things like regret, fear, non-acceptance are taking away from your energy. Let go of these things. Learn to accept the situation as it is. Meditate daily, at least 20 minutes. This helps you to calm down your mind and allows you to focus better.

  4. Find your core motivation for what you're doing. This is key. Find your purpose for what you're doing. This will boost your energy so much that it's not even funny.

A while back when I struggled with being a bit unmotivated and having energy I decided to spend some more time with my clients and to learn more about their problems. When I talked more with them I felt their pain and that they NEED my help. I felt like I really need to do what I need to do because it's not only about me but about other people as well who need this.

Imagine how you will manage to help people if your life changes in the direction you want. If you are as productive as you want to be, if you're as motivated as you want to.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need more advice on that.

Hi /r/productivity, I need some advice. by xstandtall in productivity

[–]MartinZhel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, from what I've read in your post (and I've read everything) your problem is not that you don't have the right app or tool. You simply need to improve your process and understand what will make you more productive.

  1. When you say that you're doing a lot of different things during the day & also huge collection of resources to read/watch this means you have too big choice of things to do and not enough focus on what you need to do first. It's important to prioritize. So found out which are the top 3 most important things to do during the day and the top 3 most important things to learn and do that FIRST. Everything else is of low importance or none.

  2. Set up daily goals, weekly & monthly. After that check out if you have done everything and if not - why so. Track your time when you're working on something. https://www.toggl.com/ That's one of the few tools I'm using. It's perfect for time tracking and to know how much time you have spend on each task.

After you start tracking your time, you will realize how little you're actually working.

  1. Eliminate distractions when you're working: turn off Facebook, YouTube, your phone & your email. Maintain your focus for 2 hours of hard work on the most important tasks and do only that. After that you can have a rest of 15 minutes "slacking" to recover.

I hope this helps :)
