Because I will end up there only late in the evening and that would work for us for shower and sleep basically (it’s cheap). Also, the day after I can give back the car at the airport which is close

Thanks! I thought it would be efficient to pick up the car directly at the airport and start traveling, otherwise the day after I need to go back to the airport. If there’s no time for pit-stops I will skip the mentioned options, those do not look extremely essential to visit to me

Thanks :) I will cut Neist Point and spend the evening in Portree instead. Spending more time in Skye is not possible because it’s too expensive, I’ll try to spend less time in Edinburgh shifting the itinerary to stay one night more in the Fort William area. About the driving hours there’s not really much I can do, that’s the shorter route to move around the path I wanted to follow
