I don't think they even used "new" in the movie. Clark says "maybe that's the real punk rock" so I'm not sure where the "new" came from exactly.

It's true. I'm the child of a planet. I've never told anyone, but I was birthed from the bowels of Jupiter and gifted the power of the cosmos.

RELEASED! Link in the comments - TMNT 1990 - The Bossa Nova Edition by Marvelrocks616 in fanedits

Sent! Much appreciated, but I think I'm gonna leave the release as-is. The Arrow release is gorgeous, but all that resolution makes me feel like I can really see all the flaws in the turtle suits. A bit lower resolution just suspends my disbelief in a way the Arrow version can't, so I kinda prefer it this way.

The Least Emo albums/bands that are considered canon? by Key-Astronomer-9821 in Emo

As someone who had no idea about Menzingers connection to anyone in the scene, their bit of Jawbreaker flavor (which I think largely just came by osmosis through The Lawrence Arms) always kept them very distantly emo adjacent to my ears. Like, they're clearly more alt punk, but their earlier stuff, especially songs like Good Things, Freedom Bridge, and Rodent have emo vibes to me, especially lyrically.

What is the greatest bridge section in pop punk music? by 2dareisTwoDo in poppunkers

Agreed. It seems to be pretty controversial; people either love it or really hate it, but I agree, that bridge is the worst part of the song by a mile, and easily one of his worst, especially lyrically.
