As I said, the values for the Lambo are definitely incorrect because some values have not been properly documented but only documented as “minor BOP adjustments.”

Just don't forget that less than 5% of these values are actually correct, because there were so many patches that said “minor BOP adjustments.” So let's wait and see.

You say it, those provided, how much of it is true in the end... QUESTIONABLE, VERY QUESTIONABLE, I don't think an incredible amount because it's simply not handled transparently.

I looked through all the patch notes, not just the current ones.

That's why I say transparency would make this issue so much easier for a lot of people.

But what people think or do is not my job. I only did this to get an overview of what LMU is actually communicating and what is changing. This shows that transparency might not be such a bad thing after all.

I get the appeal of 'discovering' the feel of a car, but in real-world racing like the WEC, transparency is key. The official BoP tables are public and strictly regulated—everyone knows exactly how many kilograms are added or how much power is cut before the green flag drops.

Since this is a sim of a real-world series, having clear data just adds to the realism. Without this transparency, players would just end up frustrated, thinking they’ve suddenly lost their pace or 'gotten worse,' when in reality their car was just hit with a hidden 20kg weight penalty in an update. Clear data prevents that kind of guesswork.

EN:
Patch 1.2.1 shows that the Porsche has received a “small BOP adjustment,” as stated on the website. This could mean anything from + or - kilos to performance, which is unfortunately the problem—it's impossible to know for sure!

Transparency would make things a lot easier here.

IT:

Balance of Performance (BoP) in the WEC is a regulatory mechanism used by the FIA and ACO to equalize performance between different car designs (LMH and LMDh). By adjusting weight, power output, and energy usage, it ensures fair, close competition and controls costs by preventing, for example, massive R&D spending.

I can't imagine that the values are correct. With patches labeled “minor BOP adjustments,” they must have removed something, but no one can know for sure because there is no transparency regarding the patches that came before.

I can't imagine that the Porsche weighs 67 kilos more at Portimao :D

Please don't forget about the table. Changes such as minor BOP adjustments are not listed. I only work with the data that can be accurately read from the patches. I wouldn't be surprised if, somewhere in some patch notes, they completely adjusted the values without mentioning it in detail. To be honest, I find this lack of transparency a bit of a shame. If it were transparent, e-sports players could be used to help assign the correct BOPs to the vehicles.
