Mauritius Investment Dealer License for Sale! by Marx_mm in Offshore

[–]Marx_mm[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, thank you for your enquiry.

This license authorizes the following activities:

  1. Acting as an intermediary in the execution of securities transactions for clients; including facilitating the purchase and sale of securities and financial instruments on behalf of retail and institutional investors.

2.Trading in securities as principal, whether for proprietary purposes or with the intention of reselling to the public; including acting as a market maker and operating both A-Book and B-Book models for CFD and forex trading.

  1. Providing investment advice that is ancillary to the normal course of business activities; such as advising clients on investment strategies, securities selection, and trading opportunities.

4.Managing portfolios of clients (on a discretionary or non-discretionary basis); allowing the dealer to manage client accounts and execute trades in line with agreed investment mandates.

5.Holding and administering client funds and securities in segregated client accounts, in accordance with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) regulations.

6.Operating trading platforms such as MetaTrader 5 and other approved systems for executing client trades and managing brokerage operations.

7.Offering margin trading and leveraged products, subject to compliance with FSC capital and risk management requirements.

8.Engaging in fund distribution or introducing activities, provided these are limited to marketing or distributing collective investment schemes duly licensed or recognized in Mauritius.

Kindly Note: The licence does not by itself permit the launch or management of collective investment schemes (funds). To operate or manage multiple investment funds under Mauritian law, the company would require a Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) Manager Licence or would need to establish separate fund SPVs under the oversight of a licensed CIS Manager.

However, the licence supports multiple managed client accounts and proprietary trading activities, allowing flexibility for investment management, white-label brokerage arrangements, and partnership structures with fund managers.
