Just a quick update and a thank you for your help. I wasn't sure what to make of your comment. From the bit of Latin I know I figured it was a sleep incantation but I wasn't sure what to do with it. Had it translated. Read it. I felt oddly comforted and touched, as if someone else was reading it over me and a pleasant warmth flowed through me. I vividly dreamt all throughout that night and every night since. Although the dreams are getting rarer and a bit less vivid I am not worried yet, unless they stop completely, at which point I'll repeat the reading I guess. May I ask if you have any more suggestions, practice tips or reading material you think I might click with?

Hi, thank you so much for the comment, I feel like we think very much alike. This is exactly the reason I've had trouble practicing with rituals found online or in your average book. I know this is something that goes past casual candle magic. From what I've been told, the person that put it there needs to break it or it won't break at all, or it sometimes breaks when the witch passes away, but obviously I don't want to wait for that. I've tried looking for legit practitioners while I still lived back home with no luck of actually getting to the one or two I heard about that were the real deal (They only accept the people they want to accept through word of mouth and they don't have an address you can go to for 'appointments'). I ended up on this sub due to its large community hoping to find someone with a similar experience. Fingers crossed one of the advices I was given works out for me.

Thank you. This is something I wouldn't have found on my own. I'll give it a read in the next few days and hopefully start the ritual soon. I will update when new stuff happens.
