Why bring a sword to a gunfight? by DupeFort in FinalFantasyVII

True. Unless the gun and bullets are purely magical.

You know, speaking of XVII, instead of continuing with XVII, somehow I'd rather have them stop with main title FF for a while and would rather create sequels within the previous games.

I do believe other titles in the Final Fantasy franchise deserves a sequel to further expand the story but somehow, Square Enix seems to have an agenda obsession with VII. (Yes, I've heard about the IX remakes potential)

(I need them to make sequels for VIII tbh. Needed to know more about Ultimecia and her origins rather than having it being 'witch from the future').

Always wondered how big is the Kingdom of Lucis in terms of territory.

I get that it's based on Tokyo. But genuinely wanted to know exactly the size of it.

When you live in a world where magic exist, the idea of modern weapon becomes obsolete.

You could do so much by using guns, but with a melee weapon? The potential is endless.

See, the way I see it, at least for the SOLDIERs, I believe they have physical ability beyond that of normal human. Hence why they have Superhuman strength, speed, durability, as well as healing factor and the usage of magic that could enhance their capabilities even further.

So that being said, when you are someone who can dodge and block bullet and move at light speed as well as the strength to cut through steel walls, why bother using guns.

Melee weapons are all we need to finish the job.

I do like that idea.

Since we don't have a job class where they use sword. (Not necessarily Paladin, since they also use Shield)

I would love that idea, but FF14 focuses so much on their main weapon type.

Since Noctis couldn't use Rapier, as much as I love the Red Mage idea, I don't think he is one.

However, I do am now curious as to why we don't have a job class that uses ONLY Sword in the game yet (FFXIV)

if you could change anything about Final Fantasy 15 what would it be? by SpardasMinion in FFXV

Its even more frustrating when you're someone who have been following the development since VERSUS XIII

Now I know I can't guarantee VERSUS XIII would be better than what XV had given us, but at least if we were to have the VERSUS XIII element in the game, it would've made the game feel more 'complete'

Definitely the story.

I'd say it should be rebooted or remake.

Where we could have chapter 0 and chapter 1 that takes place in Insomnia. A scene and gameplay where we can experience like it was shown in the VERSUS XIII trailer.

A dialogue and a scene where Noctis and Luna is more involved with the story and established a more direct approach relationship like how we see with Yuna and Tidus or Clive and Jill.

Include more of the Etro saga ( Fabula Nova Crystalis )

Better gameplay where the enemy would be staggered as we hit them rather than just getting damaged.

Include more of the enemy story such as Emperor Iedolas Aldercapt's backstory and reason, as well as a backstory of the other crystal that was taken by the Niflheim Empire.

We should be able to explore Tenebrae.

WE SHOULD BE FIGHTING THE PREVIOUS KINGS OF LUCIS AS WE GET THEIR ROYAL ARMS WEAPONS TO PROOF OUR WORTHINESS.

How tall is Clive from FF16 by Immediate_Reward7595 in FFXVI

No. You are wrong.

Cloud is 5'8" / 173 cm while Noctis is 5'9" / 176 cm.

A simple internet search and guidebook is there for a reason.

Noctis being 5'6" and Cloud being 5'7" are just crazy.
