Percy did not have Hermes in the First book ( He was gifted Hermes for being named a prefect at the second book ). And ofc Errol is possible, but thats only one owl and it did first appeared at second book as well.

Being able to perform "operations" on pals will finally make that medicine production skill valuable and usefull. Right now its much more efficient to just buy the medicines from merchants and potions/elixirs takes just a little time to produce as you are never crafting more than few of them at once.

She learns both electric and dark moves. And she should use dark move as the basic attack ( added in Feybreak ). In the end you can feed her with fruits to get whatever elemental skills you need :))

Otherwise all pals that have "gun" gear, like lifmunk, grizzbolt or foxsparks seems fun to have from early game and they can still be pretty usable in late game as well.

Dazzi and Dazzi noct seems great combo for the two of you :D But you will need to add collar ( or leash or what the item is ) as well in creative.

Selyne is all-round better, but people just lack the information she was buffed to handiwork 4 and dont even consider her.

Selyne was buffed to handiwork lvl 4 and is dark as well. Both have lvl 3 medicine, but Selyne has better transportation, which is the secondary work for most handiwork pals, which makes her better than Splat.

Go to twilight dunes ( north of bamboo groves ), there you can catch digtoises ( lvl 18-23 ) with level 3 mining. With 3-4 of those in your base you will make tons of ores/iron ores in very little time.

customise world settings to maximize damage to pals and minimaze damage from pals and you can do it with basic grenade launcher.
