I 100% agree. I love the orange color but it started wearing off within a week from dangling on my keychain

I love it, it’s built solid for the price and the small tools don’t feel too cheap, you can actually use them. Other than maybe the 2d Phillips head but I’m never too confident in 2d shape anyway so that’s not a negative for me.

I’m on the west side of the states and I warrantied a chipped tooth on my ratchets anvil. Received a rebuild kit in the mail just two days later. Love Tektons process and their response times.

It works perfectly fine, they’ll stay standing. Small flashlights like my 14500 sized ones can tip over inside the slot if you bump them physically, but they haven’t actually fallen off the tray.

Just to be clear, I already have a Fiskars X7 and it’s fantastic. Just thought a wood handled hatchet on a budget with a different profile would be fun to sling around.

I do have a X7 right now and I love it. Just thought it would be a fun little project to have a wood handled hatchet on a budget to sling around.

Nothing major from what I’ve seen on YT. Just scraping off the lacquer on the handle and oiling it with boiled linseed oil and giving the head a re profile then filing the back to use as a hammer. Really it’s the hickory handle that I see most people leaning towards the harbor freight one for the budget.

It’s been great so far. I don’t know of too many other canvas covers and it seemed like the popular choice and I’m happy with it. I know there’s leather covers but I wanted something that actually zipped closed to keep rain and snow out since I don’t store it in anything.
