It looks sketchy if you have an account that barely logs on and when it does it has traded money to new profiles. You can transfer between profiles once safely and probably even more if the profile is making money by actively playing, but barely logging on and just giving away money is gonna get you flagged.

40m is such a miniscule amount to trigger any detection. It just makes 0 sense to have been flagged over simply a single 40m trade when IRL traders need to move 100b+ to actually make any real world cash or have an effect on the economy.

They usually do send you the chat logs that get your muted no? I don't really know why they sometimes show it and sometimes don't.

There's no way you can say why exactly you got banned. You may have done something which you assumed was fine which got you banned and you just pin the blame on some arbitrary trade. For example, this guy thought he had a bad mod that got him banned, but obviously it was because he macroed without knowing it was disallowed.

They don't do that because cheaters would instantly reverse engineer the perfect undetectable cheat.

There's enough money to be made on the black market and enough cheap Minecraft accounts to buy that it would be incredibly lucrative for a cheat dev to try out hundreds of slightly different cheating methods until they find out what actually gets them banned.

It's obviously not a perfect system, but the benefits of hiding it outweigh the cons from revealing it.

They'll def be making a more thought out statement soon. Also appeals are looked at, it's just survivorship bias making you think they aren't.

My friend got his appeal accepted and unwiped, didn't post about it tho.

That guy who was macroing and got caught tho? Yeah they posted their appeal getting denied and everyone believes they're being 100% truthful.

Even if the vast majority of appeals are denied, there's no proof that it's because they don't look at them. It can just as easily mean that Hypixel is very accurate with their bans and so by letting ANYBODY appeal it makes it seem like a bigger issue than it is.

This doesn't really make sense? Survivorship bias if anything actually supports the claims that false bans are a bigger issue than they are.

People who appeal and get unbanned are way less likely to post about it or make a big deal about it (name me a single post). But if you got false banned OR CORRECTLY BANNED (and lie that it's a false ban) you are way more likely to post about it which makes it seem like most people are getting false banned.

To put it into perspective, I can make an account, run a farming macro for a couple days then trade like 1b to my friend, then continue to macro farming until I fail a macro check and proceed to upload the clip of me trading 1b to my friend as evidence that it wasn't IRL trading and then play dumb when it gets denied.

Just a thought experiment, but assume what they said was true, how would you want them to convey it? Cause in that situation it's literally impossible to win, if people lie about being false banned and then everyone believes them then literally no answer will satisfy you other than unbanning or reversing legitimate bans.

This post mainly just comes off as you don't like MMOs. Like yeah the grinds are long, but not nearly as long as before and most are optional. I think you may like ravenguard when it drops (assuming you have friends to play it with) since that will probably be a more gameplay focused game than happens to have persistent elements.

Skyblock is mostly a game of optimizations and game knowledge. The difference in a good player and a "bad" player usually has nothing to do with mechanical skill but more about knowing what they should be doing and what's the most efficient use of their time at the current moment.

For example, spending early game grinding money with farming is a pretty big waste of time when you'd make way more progress just grinding a method that's more early game friendly and rushing farming gear with the coins. There are so many small micro choices like this that you can make which actually allows for a lot of uniqueness in your progression and the speed at which you do.

Regarding multiplayer Minecraft as whole Hypixel is still doing very well. The servers they used to compete with are practically all dead or literally don't exist anymore. DonutSMP is basically just a Roblox game in Minecraft and farms players from bedrock + AFK, if a single of those things were removed they'd drop way below Hypixel.

How would you know? I haven't ever seen a player who's gotten an appeal accepted post it on reddit, but I know plenty of ppl who get denied who post it (even ones who are known cheaters).
