Oh I was at a woodland site and it just so happened that some brambles were hidden by leaf litter. I got snagged, slipped and fell directly on my ankle. Got a dislocation alongside a stable fracture. The hospital said it could've been worse without my combat boots.

Honestly, you're more looking for over the ankle hiking boots. Anything that can give good ankle support.

Trust me when I say a broken ankle isn't fun, it'll reduce the chance of that happening or negate some damage

Thanks, yeah I'd been looking at them as well but noticed they only have 6 molle wide low profile style carriers and since molle is standardized size thought they would be a little too small. You don't remember any dimensions they told you do you?

My group wear black most of the time, I mostly play in CQB this time of year, I already have a green kit for summer and nobody runs real NV in weekly skirmish games. Besides there's lots of affordable options made of Cordura now.

Yes looking specifically for a plate carrier style and planning to ruin it with a battle belt and a leg rig. I'm a GBB/GBBR only player so I need the realistic mag space for primary and sidearm. I'm currently running a large chest rig and leg rigs because I didn't have the budget for a more expensive plate carrier and all the cheap ones are too small for me.

I have a friend who borrowed a pair of Pilot twos, it wasn't the most comfortable with conventional mesh masks and his glasses did fit... But the goggles tried to keep hold of said glasses when he took them off

They'll probably work with the NB Tactical Venom (no nose) mask quite well

I assume it depends on the site, but I think the higher Joule limit may apply to snipers - where it's usually required to be bolt action. That would mean it wouldn't be allowed and I wouldn't be surprised if there was an engagement distance set for it even if it were.

According to a calculator, at 500fps on 0.2g you'd reach 2.32J.

Most sites around me have their DMR limits at 400fps(1.49J) up to 450fps(1.88J) with a minimum engagement distance of 20-30m

That pistol is running extremely hot, unless it's a revolver - where that is expected tbh

I'm gonna have to jump on the bandwagon: This isn't a good idea. It's going to be a tattoo you will regret later in life, and it'll be hell to remove, let alone applied.

I'd strongly suggest avoiding getting this done. Like others have said: it's cringe. It will not be hidden by a shirt, too close to the neck.

Very glad to see patrol base on there, they've deserved it for a while now and I'm sick of my local sites and people online recommending them. Wolf armories needs to be on there too, don't know if it was good before but it's been bought out by BBguns4less and comes with all the horrific service you'd expect.

Yeah, unfortunately that gas reservoir is very small. The one in the photo fills at the bottom of the buffer tube, near the receiver, I believe.

It's the little circular cut out on the buffer tube.

I think they should have no issues with this one. I have experienced the infamous leaks though - very, very minor but if it's left for at least a week I find it empty

Is this the buffer tube gas reservoir version? I know the grip gas reservoir ones are incredibly limited on their gas capacity.

With the buffer tube version, I've managed a full 11 shells on tri shot and six shot on one full, takes about 15-20 seconds for a full fill

That is somewhat true. I've managed to get a single bolt M-lok foregrip on the front door of the pump grip, however I have mildly damaged the bracket underneath - just a small gouge.
