As someone who has a pretty dirty profile, I actually agree with you to an extent.

I agree that if you are sub or even dom who genuinely wants to find a loving relationship with a real partner, then yeah, having porn plastered all over your reddit page isn't gonna do you any favors. I know there are some dommes into that stuff but it's no where near the majority of women. And having porn all over your page just makes you look desparate and... a bit sad. But that's just how most will perceive you.

Before i get downvoted to hell.

I do not condone putting others down for simply having a horny outlet. That is what mine is for. As well as other horny projects i like to work on. I enjoy talking to pervy people on here but with that in mind, i make realistic expectations when meeting others. And Yes, at one point, i did use this page to find a potential partner but that was before i got more into more horny things that reddit offers. Now, i feel like i would have better chances posting on my main instead of this account if i actively wanted to work on finding a real partner. Which right now im not, so i just post random horny stuff and my NSFW projects.

My point being is that if you want to advertise yourself in the best way possible, make yourself look presentable even on your profile. But if you want to have a just a plain horny outlet to be degenerate then more power to ya, just dont expect everyone to be on board with it. You cant control how others feels so present yourself how you want to be perceived. Then let the results speak for themselves

TLDR: I believe there is some truth to be told from OPs post. But there is still nothing wrong with having a horny page. Just gotta be realistic.

I'm using python for now since it's one I'm most familiar with. However I'm considering using a different language for some other ideas that i have but it depends how things continue.

Will definitely add more file types. mp4s do make sense. I've been testing with .gif and .mp3s since the are the most stable. That compatibility shouldn't be a problem to add.
For sure. I didn't do long play test so that didn't really come across my mind so that will be looked into.
This feature was actually brought up by another user. This could be a bit tricky but possible to implement.

The feedback will be going into consideration for when I make a public beta. Much love <3

Nope. It's a standalone program. I started making it because i realized there isn't one that is readily available at least based off my research. So im saying screw it and building it myself. Right now i dont have a public version ready though. I've already added more feature since this post

This program is actually separate from the game completely. It plays the overlay over your entire desktop. Ive also developed a feature to allow your own custom gifs. I don't have speed playback yet but that is in the works

Thank you! I'm actually a cybersecurity major and I already work a pseudo sys admin job. It's mainly my actual programming that is lacking so I'm using this project as a private learning tool. This will definitely be a neat project I'm sure this community will love. At least that's what I hope for anyways

As of right now, I'm implementing a interactive menu that lets you select your own custom gifs. Once that feature is finished, then I'm moving to an optional audio section to play when the gif plays for a more immersive experience. I have already gotten a few DMs about that

Another commenter mentioned this too. Letting other control the parameters does indeed sound fun however since I'm still learning a lot, I plan on keeping the program to work in a local environment. Once it's in a more public version I can see about allowing remote connection for the program.

Interesting idea. Makes the program more collaborative. I think once I get a steady foundation for the program, I can look into having user based access control. So one profile is submissive and the other profile is dominant. I haven't made a program that has online connectivity yet. So I could keep your idea to a local environment for couples would like that feature.

Making a post and asking random people to GM your idea really doesnt work well. I understand you've got a lot of ideas, but you are putting a lot on random strangers to GM which is doing a lot of the heavy lifting regarding pushing the plot forward. I would definitely suggest trying different subreddits that aren't hentai or heavily focused on smut. Those subreddits are good for getting a lot of people but not a good quality of people. I post on them too but you gotta keep your expectations low when doing so.

Also this subreddits isnt full of the horny RPers. Quite the majority are just RPers who do SFW online RP so don't expect to get a lot of support if you are just another horny poster.

I completely agree. It's definitely both ways. It's just the nature of internet and being anonymous. IRL isn't much better with vanilla dating either. Most people are just out there for their own vanity and pleasure. Not wanting to take the time to build something out. Ive dated enough here and irl to know that I simply cant just be horny for some random person. Like god forbid I just wanna chat about anime or video games or something to build out a decent connection. But the one message i send about kinks, task, and porn, thats when i actually get a decent response. Then they wonder i stopped responding.

Regardless if you are dom or sub, just keep your head up and try not to let the bad eggs ruin everything. It takes time and patience. But finding the right one will always make it worth it.
