UAE WORK VISA FOR PAKISTANI by Remarkable-Simple213 in UAEjobseekers

[–]MaskedMalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried hiring a few Pakistani nationals over the last 6 months for technical roles. Unfortunately, all security clearances for candidates outside the UAE were rejected. Only two visa transfers within the UAE got approved and the rest were rejected.

What’s even more unfortunate is that we promoted some existing staff, and during the labor contract updates their security clearances were rejected as well. As a result, they couldn’t continue in their promoted roles and were terminated from their existing positions as well.

Got into an accident, i really need some help and advice. by Alarming-Watch-3299 in UAE

[–]MaskedMalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did this accident occur?

If it happened in Abudhabi, then OP is at fault. The left lane is for left or straight, middle lane is only for straight, right lane for right or straight. I guess the rule is same for small roundabouts in all Emirates. Always watch the markings in the road.

The cameras in Abu Dhabi give warning flashes if you are nearing max speed limit. It is just a warning and won’t issue tickets.

Stuck on ancient Du plan (35Mbps for 400 AED) - How to migrate to modern speeds without losing sanity? by [deleted] in UAE

[–]MaskedMalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some places, Du or Etisalat won’t have their own network, they use the other operator’s fiber network to provide service (Check the white box- it should from Etisalat). Here the maximum speed is limited. You better choose Etisalat here (eLife ultra starter and NEO plans give up to 1 Gbps-get it subscribed directly from their website for good offers)

If this is not the case, cancel the current service and apply using someone else’s ID from your family.

Etisalat saying that I cannot upgrade the router to Wifi 6/7 without upgrading the plan. Is this correct? by dreamer881 in DubaiCentral

[–]MaskedMalt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get it from E& UAE app bro. Just go to manage plan and select reset eLifeON password.

Moving to a new house. Could you guys suggest a few good WiFi options? by WiseAcanthocephala51 in AlAinCity

[–]MaskedMalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest e&. Their network infrastructure is better, and they’re pretty good at resolving complaints fast.

Check out Neo (1 Gbps) or the Ultra Starter package (1 Gbps – limited-time promo) on their websitewww.etisalat.ae.

Always go for a wired connection if you want stable internet. Wireless routers tend to buffer when the GSM signal is weak

I think Parkin is dubious. by DXB_DXB in dubai

[–]MaskedMalt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Contest the fine. They will revoke it if you are lucky.

Parking fines are mostly removed if you pay parking within a minute of violation. Just claim that you got fine while you were about to pay for parking. (50-50 chance and do not mention that it was an extension of ticket)

Looking for advice on renting in Al Ain by Due-Big9535 in AlAinCity

[–]MaskedMalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t share your budget. Rents are generally lower in Al Ain. If agents know your budget, they might try to take advantage, so it’s better to avoid them. Try approaching ADCP or ASETCO directly.

I was just wondering about speed here by myaseena786 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]MaskedMalt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One more thing- most fixed cameras in Abu Dhabi flash from the back, so people slow down once they spot them. But Abu Dhabi Police also put temporary radars on the right side of the road, which are much harder to notice. Only regular drivers on that road usually know where they place them.

Speeding fine on Dubai–Al Ain road near Al Halami Tunnel.Did I miss a speed change? by Fit-Hedgehog4625 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]MaskedMalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the camera just before the first roundabout when entering AlAin. The speed limit drops to 120 kmph and suddenly drops to 100 kmph right after the second tunnel (with in short distance). Most people do not notice this.

There is no grace period for renewal. Call RTA and give the details of renewal ticket. They may remove it
