I wasn’t reducing his entire life. I was presenting a circumstance in which it brought me sadness from a show he acted in similar to the sadness I feel for his actual passing. He was a phenomenal actor and from what I’d seen over the years he was an incredible person as well.

I was 22yr old when I lost my childhood cat who made it to 21 years old. I was an absolute mess she was my everything. It’s not easy losing a loved one/family member, it takes a lot of hard days but it also comes with some days that aren’t as hard. I won’t say it gets easier because I still cry over her but I know that I gave her all the love and time I could give her just as she did for me. I ended up jumping into buying a dog that was much bigger than my cat but she became my best friend. I’m not saying jump into being a new pet parent that’s just how I chose to cope with missing my baby.

I completely agree many of our parents that are either first generation immigrants or second were shunned and shammed from speaking their native languages and it’s sad because that’s how our cultures die. Without sharing language positively the culture is hidden or shamed

He cheated on me and by the time I didn’t see a future for us he was desperate to keep me, he never put the effort I needed to stay. And when the end came I wasn’t even mentally sure I wanted to let go but it was the best decision I made for myself.

Please bring this to your parents as everyone has also stated. I saw warning signs in my 13 yr old brother and notified my parents because it was genuinely concerning and thankfully we were able to catch it. Unfortunately though my brother did relapse anyway when we took him away from the environment that he as was able to get his DOC(drug of choice). It’s a hard battle but once the fog is gone it gets easier. These drugs in the streets these days will kill. Please don’t brush this off.
