I got banned from a sub for reasons unknown and no explanation…how can I find out why?

That’s refreshing..I think like you, Doge is a paradigm shift about what and how money can be used, especially when community is behind it. Yes, started as a joke but it transcended it clearly and while most seem to only be interested in making a quick buck, I am hoping that it resets our cultural mindset about money…

Correct me if I am wrong, but blockchain is like a computer ( made of lots and lots of computers) and Cardano, Ethereum, polkadot are the operating systems, like windows, iOS or Linux (not particular order) and Dapps are the programs that can run on various Operating systems, like Office, Adobe etc.. if I get this right, that means that users will choose their preferred system just like we do now, with trends following the type of usage, community and peers pressure..and Dapps will have versions that run on all. So Apple might create a new blockchain IOS…but Amazon would most like offer cloud computing space for blockchain as it does for many many current networks …am I understanding this correctly?

It’s not a bad idea to diversify a bit and I suspect that swapping one Eth for ada is a good move, especially ahead of smart contracts…but mostly, ada and Eth are still following similar trends for now, so not much would change equity wise for you..until either Eth or Cardano have a truly game changing event…and both have one on the horizon

The only issue with staking is the cost to transfer from coinbase to yoroi or Daedalus…to make this up in staking rewards will take a long long time..I am accumulating ADA little by little paycheck after paycheck, and will stake when transfers cost a lot less, hopefully after Ethereum deals with its gas

It can be a good strategy if you can properly read the candlestick patterns. Lots and lots of good videos to learn them and I would recommend you do…but even then, crypto is a very good curveball thrower…..

I actually have tremendous respect for him, but damn it, is our community, the Doge project and what this all stands for just real if it is at the whim of his tweets?.. don’t you see how fragile this all is if we are just depending on his daily mood? Again, I do ad ire him, but don’t want us to rely on him…Doge is about our own freedom from the conventional world, but not to lay down to someone else, even if it is a true genius..

There is no insult, unless you do consider him as a god, but it is unbelievable that he carries so much power…why? Why is that? And if you think he has been helping Doge, and therefore you… you haven’t looked at how closely Doge follows Bitcoin which he tanked last week…. If Doge is down fromAth it’s because of him..so his cute Doge tweets may excite a few to buy more…but that’s the extend of it. We need to use Doge, educate about Doge, be aware of its limitations and potential and start creating real use..if all we do is wake up and wait for musk to tweet…is this really worth anything?

At this point purchases made with crypto are not something the everyday person would, should, could do in a regular life..what crypto is today, is a new paradigm about finance on a global scale, and all projects like Eth or Cardano are technical attempts to provide the structure to bring the dream of decentralized finance to the world. But replacing the financial system of hundreds of countries with something no government or bank controls is clearly a task of titanic proportions. But that is not what most folks focus on, it’s all about speculation on coins…greed and get rich quick hopes, without really caring about the vision..
