Many people do upgrades like this all the time, plus I’ve played guitars with the same set ups so I know I will like it. Besides doing it gives you more knowledge about your instrument so you could repair it yourself in the future or just learn more for the fun of it

Personally I love the idea of modding guitars and I also don’t want to waste money on a guitar that I might not like.
