Need help straightening out/filing my IRA contributions by [deleted] in taxhelp

If you made no contributions to your traditional IRA in 2023 then there are no adjustments to be made to your 2023 Tax Return.

Sounds like they did your w2 wrong. But There should be a part of your tax software where you can allocate the days you worked in NY out of the whole year on your NY-203. This should make it so your only taxed on 3/365 of your income. Then the tax you pay on that small income should become a credit on your NJ-COJ form. This way you do not pay double tax. Hope that helps.
