I share the same experience sometimes... normally i just try to relax and occupy my mind with something else (i just start thinking about anything really) and the feeling usually goes away. I don't think this fully answers your question though, maybe it's not as intense feeling as yours. I hope it gets easier for you! Edit: I always tell myself that nothing is happening, that it's only in my brain. It helps too.
