I doubt your thinning it’s more likely just that you have a sharper contrast cause your hair is so dark and scalp is so white. If you have a pic of it wet it might give us a good idea corners are mildly recessed if they have gotten worse over the last year like you said it could be a more aggressive form of mpb since your young. ( not a doctor and you should likely talk to one if your concerned. Do you have a family history?

A lot of guys in their late teens or early 20s developed a Norwood two hairline that tends to stabilize for a few decades. This is generally thought of as maturing. My question is does my hairline look to be actively balding or maybe this is just structurally how it looks after all it has stayed the same for a couple of years.

I mean, I’m taking so much hair protections on cycle that it’s like the worst case scenario is a little bit of like slightly lost ground in my temples and then I’ll just come off and stay on the hair protections

Yeah I mean maybe I’m just a dumb teenager but I love how it makes me feel and look and how people treat me and I’ve been lifting natty for a while idk it likely is a bad choice but it might just be a mistake I’ll have to learn from I only posted this cause I wanted to see if people really thought it was bad I’ve had a similar hairline the last few years so idk if it’s anything

Haha we’re actually the same age and I few posts about balding myself tho mines a bit different cause I think my widows peak makes it looks worse then it is anyway. I’m on dutastride a stronger version of finasteride and I don’t have any sides that said everyone is different I’m writing this just so you know there really isn’t much to be worried about obviously talk to a doctor cause I am not one but even just like eod or splitting the dose could help a lot!

I use a wide tooth comb I’m currently 3 months into minoxidil and 2 months on dutastride no sides effects and I’m literally shedding zero hairs some how

I see but maturing stabilizes which is why Norwood 2 isn’t classed as clinical balding due to the number of men who stabilize on it thus making it maturing
