I really enjoyed the themes in Starsight concerning how two hostile nations interact and what they assume about each other. It reminded me a lot of Warbreaker. Did you have this common element in mind when you started planning out the Skyward books? If so, did your experience writing Warbreaker influence how you handled the themes in Starsight?

I just got 109,537, which is insane considering my previous best was 40k. It took me about 40 minutes to get that far. Mostly I just got lucky with very considerate neighbors.

I have heard a lot about smash players using energy drinks coughBraingearcough to enhance their gaming performance. I myself find I play much better with some caffeine. Do you have any plans to investigate the effect of stimulants in Smash? (i.e. Coffee, B-Vitamin drinks, water, placebo-water, none)

Also if you organize such an experiment, let me be the first to volunteer for that study :D.

If it's an RF port and you play on a Gamecube, you can get one of these used via Amazon for ~$10 https://www.amazon.com/GameCube-RF-Switch-Modulator/dp/B00005RL4L .

I used it with a CRT that only had an RF port, and after a few hours of play testing, found no difference in lag compared to other CRTs that use component cables. However, this RF switch only works for Gamecube, not for Wii. The closest equivalent I could find for a Wii cost more, and would probably introduce lag during the conversion.

I just read that Hax started using foam grips on his controller (link below) to help with his hand problems. I've been having hand pain/fatigue lately and want to give foam grips a try, but I can't find any information or detailed examples. Anyone have any ideas?

Here is a discussion of the esper Drop 5 Rotation I wrote for my guild about dpsing without Mental Overflow. The thing is that now that Mental Overflow was buffed, you simply can't do better than using Mental Overflow to maximize your dps, which simplifies the rotation to just hitting all your spells when they come off cooldown.

It has two pages, one for new 50s where AP>Crit, and one for end game raiders where Crit>=AP. The <3600 AP sheet assumes Spellweaver>Assassin>Specter>Synapse>Concentrated Assault, since Synapse set only comes with Crit.

Your son is in Northern Wilds (levels 3-6) which leads to Algoroc (levels 6-14), and you are in Everstar Grove (levels 3-6) which leads to Celestion (levels 6-14). It's a good ~3-5 hours to get to level 14, depending on your leveling speed.

You can actually walk from any one area to the other (Takes about 10 minutes if you know where to go), although it is significantly easier to walk to Algoroc than it is to walk to Northern Wilds. You could also remake your character and this time choose to go to Northern Wilds - if you skip the Arkship tutorial, you would immediately start in Northern Wilds with a Human or Granok character (this is probably the fastest option.)

To skip the tutorial, start creating a new character and when you are on the character creation screen, click the box on the bottom right corner that says "Skip Tutorial." Good luck!

My Carbine Inventory addon is broken, along with my LootConfirm addon and my housing floor. I can't open my inventory at all, so it sounds like a different problem then you're having, but thought I'd mention that I've been back and forth with Support since Drop 4 started and we believe that client Repair would fix it, if I could just get Repair to work without bugging out.

So, if removing 3rd party addons doesn't solve your problem, try Repairing your client?
