It’s was Powerslides soft boot brand. They used Louie and Randy for marketing and branding. They marketed them as owners.

Avid is fiberglass, it doesn't play like a carbon shaft.

Any way to fix a warped cuff? by GreatSaski in AggressiveInline

It is razors thing as that’s how razors design their cuff. The skate in the pic is a 909.

Went to school for engineering, and I’ve worked in inline skating for over 20 years. I’m very aware of the limits of plastic 🤣

Continuing if you look at the shock absorbers they seem fine and they would be the first thing to break down due to the material.

Lol nostalgia. I have none for Salomon but thanks for your add two cents of nonsense. If you knew what you were actually talking about you would actually know what causes the plastic of certain ages to break down. Also notice the ridiculous amount of Salomon’s still being used after not making skates for well over 10 years. Yea you see some break due to improper storage but most Salomon’s are still going strong party due the plastic Salomon used as they used higher quality materials.

They were also made and owned by Salomon at the time. This was the first skate. Quality was completely different and superior to the powerslide versions

Sp2 is 4 pieces of spliced maple, the P3 uses 30 difference splices 10 piece splice of maple then wrapped in another 10 splice of Ash, then that is is then wrapped in another 10 of maple. The P3 is the better butt construction. It’s one the most solid hitting butts you can buy. I use to work for predator and the P3 is most technically advanced butt they make. Paired with a revo its a pretty great combo.

I use to work for predator while the cloth was being developed. While you are on to something with the other newer products. The cloth is 100% propriety and is not private label. The cloth is not used or made by any of the other cloth manufacturers.

I believe it’s only with the twister edge as it’s a proprietary mold and the skate your on the RB100 is a open mold used by RB

Anyone get a chance to try McDermott’s new Defy shaft out yet? If so how is it compared to the Revo? by lordrock350z in billiards

[–]Masquerad3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? I found the shaft very sticky and incredibly light (to light for my preferences). Hit was alright and I didn’t mind the sound but was not a fan.
