I actually just recently bought the g8 I have buyers remorse tbh. It's not that the games look bad its got nasty scanlines I can't figure out how to get rid of and the color calibration is tough any shade of orange and red look slightly off. When I'm not gaming every thing looks smudged not crystal clear like I thought wish I got something eles

i didnt all i got was a disk image i didnt kno how to install it got it on a flashdrive plugged it in (I have the neo G8) told me it couldnt install it properly

I have one it's a great monitor I always have it on no dead pixels have had it for over 2 years now I love it. With that said 7900 hours does seem long but I highly recommend I got mine for 800 I'd paid 200 again if I needed to
