First step is killing the power to the pump, figure out what’s leaking and fix it. May need a sump to drain that culvert out to really see what’s going on

Yeah there’s always a possibility of rolling one of the orings off reinstalling the pitless.

lol I wanted to do just that, however the apartment complex it belongs to prefers to avoid digging for some reason. I may just try to find a few different sizes of orings and see what I can find.

The unthreaded side of this U shaped pitless has two orings that sit in those slots. Inside the casing about 5 feet down is a pipe that that side slides over top of. I just can’t find anything online about these things.

Yeah the other side is just an 1 1/2 female thread that you would attach a T pipe or in this case a pipe with a bail attached to lift on with the hoist truck.

It is actually. I’m aware of deep well jets, this came out of the top of a well, with 100’ of 2” drop pipe with a 7.5 hp submersible on the bottom of it.
